Collecting the device at the Balmes clinic

Pickup at the clinic is free. The clinic is open Monday to Friday, 9:00-13:00 and 15:00-20:00, but the device can't be collected at any time: we hand it over at the start or end of a physiotherapy shift, so when you book we give you a specific time. That time is fixed: if you arrive later, the clinic may be closed.

If you book and pay with enough notice, the device can be ready the same day; if it's already late, the next day. As there is no courier involved, pickup doesn't depend on SEUR collection times.

You take the complete kit in its carry case: the Magnetofield unit, two solenoids (the discs placed over the area to treat), two straps to hold them (one long, one short), the charger, the instruction manual and a tester magnet to check that each disc is working.

Getting to Balmes 372

The clinic is on the first floor of a building on Carrer de Balmes, in the Sant Gervasi neighbourhood. The nearest station is Pàdua, on the FGC (Ferrocarrils de la Generalitat) L7 line, with an exit at the corner of Balmes and Carrer de Pàdua, a couple of minutes' walk away. The next stop on the same line, El Putxet, is also on Balmes.

From the city centre, take the L7 at Plaça Catalunya, where it connects with the metro and Rodalies, and get off at Pàdua: it's only a few stops.

Payment: card, Bizum or cash

You can pay online by card or Bizum (we send you a secure payment link) or by bank transfer. If you collect at the Barcelona clinic, you can also pay in cash on pickup; we only accept cash for pickups in Barcelona and Sant Cugat. There is no deposit.

Home delivery in Barcelona and the metropolitan area

If you can't come to the clinic, for example because you have just left hospital and can't move around, we send the device to your home with SEUR. Shipping costs €20 in total and covers both delivery and return. It arrives within 24 or 48 working hours of dispatch (Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays don't count), both in Barcelona city and across the metropolitan area: L'Hospitalet de Llobregat, Badalona, Cornellà de Llobregat or Esplugues de Llobregat, for example.

Rental days start counting the day after delivery, not the day you pay. If you live in the Baix Llobregat or the Vallès, you can also collect it for free at our clinics in Sant Joan Despí or Sant Cugat del Vallès.

Returning the device

If you collected it at the clinic, you return it in person at any of our points: Barcelona, Sant Cugat, Sant Joan Despí, Seville or Valencia; it doesn't have to be the one where you picked it up. No appointment needed: just come during clinic hours, ideally between sessions so you don't interrupt another patient. If you'd rather not travel, you can also return it by SEUR by paying the return shipping (€10): our team arranges it for you.

If we shipped it to your home, the SEUR return is already included: you choose whether they collect it from your home or you drop it at a SEUR point. If your return date falls on a weekend or public holiday, you return it on the next working day. And if you need more days, you can extend the rental before it ends.

If you had surgery at a Barcelona hospital

Magnetotherapy is usually prescribed after a fracture, during post-operative orthopaedic recovery or for bone marrow oedema, and treatment means daily sessions over several weeks. If you had surgery or are being treated at a Barcelona hospital, whether public, such as Vall d'Hebron, Sant Pau, Hospital Clínic or Hospital del Mar, or private, such as Teknon, Quirónsalud Barcelona or Dexeus, you can collect the device at Balmes on your way home or have it delivered. Teknon and Quirónsalud Barcelona are in the same district as the clinic, Sarrià-Sant Gervasi.

You don't need a prescription to rent it, although we recommend that the indication comes from your doctor or physiotherapist. If you're unsure whether it suits your case, you can ask our team before renting.
